Buddy Week
From March 15th through the 20th all GB members are welcome to bring friends and family to train the Fundamentals program with them.  This will be a great opportunity for your family to see what all those hours on the mats are doing for you!

Special Classes:
On Wednesday, March 24th at 8pm  we will be having a one hour class devoted entirely to takedowns and takedown defense.  This class will be open to all members of the advanced and black belt programs.  It will be especially beneficial for those interested in competition, however, non-competitors are encouraged to participate as well!  Not a member of the advanced or black belt program?  Grab a seat and watch to see what is in store for you as you advance through the GB programs.

Rape safe class:  This month on March 27th at 10am Gracie Barra Irvine will be hosting a special women’s class to see how BJJ will help you protect yourself in real life situations.  Members are welcome to bring any female friends or family members to enjoy this class with them.

Announcements:
2010 Gracie Barra instructor’s meeting dates have been set.  Because Gracie Barra is dedicated to providing the highest level of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, professors from all over the United States will be flying to the headquarters in Irvine.  They will be meeting to discuss what we can do to make 2010 the best year ever for Gracie Barra.
