Weekly Update
Special classes:
Valentine’s Conditioning: This month the conditioning class will be on the Saturday before Valentines day (Feb. 13th) at 10AM. We look forward to another great workout and this time we would like to extend the invite to any ’significant others.’ If you have a boyfriend, girlfriend, husband or wife that you would like to bring with you to the class they are all more than welcome! Lets burn some calories before V-Day dinner!
BJJ for MMA: We will be having another BJJ for MMA class this month on February 24nd at 8:00PM. The class will have the same format as last month, but with all new techniques! This class is for members of the Advanced and Black Belt programs. We look forward to seeing you all there!
Master Carlos will be returning from Brazil to the Irvine academy at the end of the month. Also, our dear instructor, Rafael “Tinoco” and his wife, Professor Ana Laura are back home in Brazil visiting their family for the first time since they made the move to the states! Lets all wish them a safe and happy trip.
Finally, the Gracie Barra Competition was postponed to avoid confliction with the IBJJF. Please stay tuned to www.gbcompnet.com for an announcement regarding the new date for the 2010 Season Opener.
